Strategies to Reduce the Constraints to Effective Implementation of UBE





We must realize that basic education goes beyond literacy and numeracy. It embraces all kinds of basic knowledge and useful life. We must therefore, encourage children to develop a scientific outlook and rudimentary understanding of the natural and social environment. We can achieve this by not confining the children to classroom situation alone. In seeking to achieve the objectives of the programme, vigorous efforts must be made to counter the factors that may hinder the attainment of the stated objectives. 9.  Taking proper care of teachers; their recruitment, education, training, retraining, motivation and other needs;
