The first step is the definition of the sample group. Each subject must have the potential to develop the outcome of interest (that is, asthmatics should not be included in a cohort designed to study lung cancer). Furthermore, the sample population must be representative of the general population if the study is primarily looking at the incidence and natural history of the condition (descriptive).

1.8. Definition of Terms
There are some key terms used repeatedly in the study which needs to be defined. These are:
i. Attitude: Attitude is an expression of favours or disfavours towards a person, place, thing or event.
ii. Instructional Materials: These are materials used to help transfer information and skills to others. Examples of teaching aids are books, films, audio-visual materials etc.
iii. Factors: One that actively contribute to an accomplishment, result or process.
iv. Teacher Factor: These are teacher related factors that affects students interest in learning integrated science such as teachers methodologies  and teachers competence.
v. School Factors: These are school factors that have adverse effect on student’s interest in learning integrated science. Such as the concept and content of the subject.
vi. Student Factors: These are students related factors that negatively affect their interest and aspirations.

Vocational education can be described as the aspect of education which is concerned with the preparation of skilled manpower. It is a form of education, training or retraining which is directed towards developing the learner to become productive in a paid employment or in self employment. It is therefore the bedrock in which a country’s socio-economic, technological and cultural advancement must be built.
To achieve the national objectives, and the objectives of vocational and technical education in Nigeria there is  the need to ensure good quality in the teaching and evaluation of students and is crucial to helping students in high academic standards; improving of quality and examination of vocational and technical education has become very necessary because most people who pass through training in this type of education are unable to perform adequately as they ought to ; unemployment has become so rampart and poverty has engulf most of them.

Possible Solutions to Indecent Dressing

The problem of indecent dressing requires an integrated approach because of its multifaceted causes. According to Nwabuisi (2000) the following are the possible solutions to indecent dressing:

1.    Parents are to serve as Role Models:

 Children watch their parents and copy their ways of behavior. The behavior of parents impresses on their children more greatly than what they tell them either to do or not to do. Parents are to be obligated to their children by bringing them up properly and in the fear of God. They are to teach them the fundamental things they need to learn about correct values, attitudes and beliefs cherished by the society by being exemplary. Apart from being moral exemplars, parents should have time for their children. Children need the attention and love of their parents more than gifts they think they can buy for them as substitutes. Parents need to occasionally watch home videos with them,

Effects of Indecent Dressing

According to Nwabueze (2000), indecent dressing could lead to the following:

1.    Sexual Harassment: 

There is the likelihood that ladies who dress indecently or provocatively could be prone to sexual harassment and or rape. These forms of dresses suggest that such ladies need attention and that they are irresponsible and so there are always irresponsible men to dialogue, lure or force them to bed for sex.

2.    HIV/AIDS: 

This is another risk factor that immodestly dressed ladies could be prone to. When such ladies are forced into sex against their will they may be exposed to venereal diseases because of lack of protection. One of such killer diseases is HIV/AIDS.

Indecent dressing: A social malady

Indecent dressing simply means deliberate exposure of one’s body to the public.

This practice is contrary to the acceptable norms and values of the society.

Moral decadence on the other is a reduction in the level of morality in the society.

Statement of the Problem on the cause of indecent dressing among nigerian youths

This unethical and un-African dress pattern among the youths of this generation has generated lots of concern and worry among the citizenry of the country. Religious institutions as well as institutions of learning are not resting on their oars to watch this immoral act being perpetuated, but they speak against it. For instance, Olori (2003) reported that at the University of Abuja rules were made that any dress worn must cover intimate parts of the body, must not expose the breast, stomach, navel and bare chest. But on this very campus students still dress indecently.
