Overriding conclusion that emerges from this study is the need to examine how ICT have served as catalyst for effective utilization of information by mathematics teachers in a holistic policy context. There is no single policy set aside for planning policies and programmes to introduce ICT in the use of information by mathematics teachers.
Considering the finding of this study, it was concluded that Warri South local government is not fully ready to imbibe information and communication technology (ICT) for the effective teaching of mathematics in secondary schools. This is evident in the findings of this study which indicate a low level provision of ICT equipment and facilities to schools. The finding has led the researchers to conclude that the provision of ICT equipment is significant related to effective teaching in schools. It was therefore concluded that intermittent disruption of electricity and that of funding are major problems inhibiting the usage of ICT equipment and facilities for the effective mathematics teaching in secondary schools in Warri South local government area of Delta state.
