Patients neglect to follow the dosage instructions, which give the salmonella an opportunity to develop resistance. In animal husbandry, antibiotics are commonly misused and overused, including over prescription by vets and in agricultural practices. Doctors help slow the pace of growing antibiotic resistance by avoiding over-prescription. Patients should always take the entire treatment course and take the dosage in the instructed manner. Finally, antibiotics should never be shared with others.

Causes of Antimicrobial Resistance in Salmonellosis
The more antibiotics are used, the more chances Salmollena has to become resistant to them. Salmollena adapt to the antibiotics used against it and these adaptations ensure their survival (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, 2009). A major cause of antibiotic resistance in Salmonelosis includes:
Mutation
Salmollena spp. reproduces by dividing every few hours, allowing them to evolve rapidly and adapt quickly to new environmental conditions. During replication, mutations arise and some of these mutations may help Salmollena survive exposure to an antimicrobial.Read: How to Start a Recharge card Printing Business from the Comfort of your Home with Just N5,000

Antimicrobial Resistance in Salmonellosis
ABSTRACT
Salmonellosis is a one of the major food borne diseases with a high incidence and severity. Antibiotic resistance in salmonellosis is a growing public health emergency since salmonellosis from resistant Salmonella spp. is more hard and costly to treat. Since the 1990, some strains of Salmonella became resistant to a range of antibiotics. Nowadays, multidrug resistance has become a critically important issue in public health. The risk of Salmonellosis developing antibiotic resistance in human and animal is one of the main reasons for this study.
CHAPTER ONEINTRODUCTION
Antimicrobial resistance is resistance of a microorganism to an antimicrobial drug that was originally effective for treatment of infections caused by it (WHO, 2014). Resistant microorganisms (including bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites) are able to withstand attack by antimicrobial drugs, such as antifungals,

5 Bluetooth Myths you Should Drop
You can barely find something that doesn’t have a myth, history or legend associated with it. However, the question many often ask is whether the myths they hear are true or false.
Since Bluetooth became popular, there have been so many beliefs that people have held on to about this amazing technology. And this is the time to drop some of these beliefs or myths.Non-discoverable Bluetooth is secured
Your Bluetooth is not secured even if it cannot be found by other devices so the best option is to switch off your Bluetooth when it’s not in use. If your Bluetooth is on, your phone can be hacked because your Bluetooth Device Address (BDA) might be hidden in non-discoverable mode and hackers can take advantage of this loophole.
Enabling Bluetooth kills your battery
Many people believe that immediately they switch on their phone’s Bluetooth, they begin to lose battery. This actually false. Even if the Bluetooth icon stays on for hours, it has no impact on the battery. This is because many smartphones now come with Low Energy Module which allows you to use your Bluetooth without your phone shedding any battery.
Bluetooth is not good for your health
Health experts are yet to agree on whether the radiation from your smartphone is harmful or not. This is same with Bluetooth which is one of the reasons why Bluetooth headset is becoming popular as it is safer than receiving calls with your phone.
Bluetooth only functions in small rooms
Bluetooth devices can work anywhere, including a small room. The only problem is the operating distance between the devices. However, this may not be an issue anymore as there are now three classes of Bluetooth that can transfer files over a wide distance range. Bluetooth Class 1 devices have a range of around 100 metres, Bluetooth Class 2 devices have a range of around 10 metres and Bluetooth Class 3 devices have a range of less than 10 metres. Most smartphones and smartphones and tablets use Bluetooth Class 2 or 3.
Bluetooth interferes with WiFi
Most wireless technologies including Bluetooth and WiFi use 2.4 GHz radio frequency to exchange data. Due to this, many people have the perception that the Bluetooth and WiFi often clash because they are broadcasting on the same wireless frequency. This is not the case because Bluetooth is super-fast as it hops over other devices to prevent any interference without dropping in speed.

Reasons Why you should Change your Desktop to Laptop or later
Still using a Desktop computer? Here are 6 reasons to change it!
Technology is evolving rapidly in the 21st century. The world of computers has also changed from supercomputers to the desktop computer to the laptop and notebook.
However, some persons or organizations are yet to flow with the technology wave as they still use desktop computers. Although in some economic sectors, desktop computers are still relevant, components of computers are fast becoming miniaturized to make them more efficient. If you are still using a desktop computer in your home or office, here are six reasons from Nigerian Gateway to something more modern. No longer fashionable
Imagine potential clients visit your office and they see desktop computers all over your office, what will they think about your organization. It is simple - your organization is not dynamic and has refused to move with time and they may question whether it is appropriate to do business with you or not. For example in a news organization, you do not expect to find a desktop computer.
Portability
Desktop computers are usually rooted to a particular spot and this is a primary disadvantage of big PCs. Presently, many people are on the move and they also take their work assignments home. This is why a laptop is very widely used due to its portability. This is not possible with a desktop computer.
Price
Long before the arrival of laptops, desktops were the most affordable computer go for. However, with the coming of notebooks, and Chromebooks as well as laptops; it has significantly crashed the price for computers. So, keep a desktop computer when you can buy a portable and inexpensive computer?
Gaming and entertainment
There is a limit to which you can use desktop computers for entertainment and gaming. For a laptop, you can attach Virtual Reality Gaming system which has comprehensively changed the way people play games. This not really possible with a desktop computer.
Specification and performance
The speed of a computer is an important factor to consider when buying one. The specification, speed, and performance of a desktop computer are improving daily that the desktop computers are will soon be sparingly produced all because of the electrifying speed of laptops.
General Purpose
With an ultrabook, you can use it for daily work schedule as well as take pictures and browse social media on the go. This is because it is affordable and portable. Even smartphones have further dealt a death blow to desktop computers.

Preparation of Some Standard Solutions Used in the Laboratory
A
standard solution is a solution whose concentration is known. Standard
solutions are prepared in advance or at demand and kept on the bench in the
laboratory for use. A standard solution of a substance can be prepared, if the
substance can be obtained in pure form state, by weighing accurately a definite
mass of the substance, dissolving it in a suitable solvent, usually water, and
making up the solution to a known volume in a volumetric flask.
General Laboratory equipment, their Use and Instrumentation
The Light Microscope
The microscope employs a hollow, extremely intense cone of light concentrated on the specimen. The field of view of the objective lens lies in the hollow, dark portion of the cone and picks up only scattered light from the object. The clear portions of the specimen appear as a dark background,

School Based Assessment
School Based Assessment
Assessment
and schooling go hand in hand. The assessment in learners’ and learning is a
regular practice in education and are used to determine how far learners have
learnt or mastered and educational task or knowledge or how well an educational
process has addressed its set objectives. Anikweze (2005) precisely refers to
assessment as the “process of investigating the status or standard of learners’
attainment, with reference to expected outcomes that must have been specified
as objectives” when it concerns learnt output. The assessment of learners is
often ongoing in many school set up. In fact, it is even undertaken as a basis
for admitting students into the school. Assessment involves the practical
assignment of numbers or figures to describe the quantity, quality or frequency
of learning as the basis to interpret knowledge acquired.
