ABSTRACT
A comparative study was carried out to ascertain the
attitudes of secondary school students towards business studies (A Case Study
of Teacher Perception in some Elected Secondary Schools in Owheologbo Local
Government
Area of Delta State). Data for the study was gathered with the aid
of questionnaire that was administered to 60 percentages and hypothesis was
tested using chi-square methods at 0.05 level of significant. The study reveals
that there are significant differences between students who have positive
attitude towards business studies and those with negative attitude towards
business studies. The study further shows that lack of adequate facilities and
equipments hinder teaching and learning in secondary school has a significant
effect on teaching and learning of business studies and also there is a
significant difference between trained and untrained business studies teacher.
