To
meet the challenges the following needs to be ensured:

Creating public awareness for Information
and Communication Technology and encouraging students’ interest.

Integrating Information and
Communication Technology in all subject areas in the educational system.

Government should ensure and monitor
the implementation of Information and Communication Technology application at
all levels of our educational system as contained in the National Policy on
Education (2004).
-
Provision of Information and Communication
Technology materials in all Nigerian schools.
-
Continuous Information and
Communication Technology in-service training for all teachers.
-
Government should invest on Information
and Communication Technology facilities in such areas as procurement of equipment,
infrastructure and Information and Communication Technology centres.
