INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background to the Study:- 

The modern trend in education and the complex nature of learning and instruction have made the role of the teachers more challenging. This new role does not just involve the mere transmission of information to students but it involves looking at the problems associated with learning and instruction. The National Policy on Education (NPE, 2004) in Nigeria emphasized that our children should be educated properly so that they can acquire skills and competencies that would enable them function well and solve problems in the society.

ABSTRACT

This research titled “Effect of accounting information on fraud control and detection in local government system in Ebonyi state. A study of Ezza south LGA” was carried out to determine whether there are adequate accounting information systems and softwares for carrying out accounting operations in Ezza south local government area and to find out whether the nature of revenue collections in Ezza south local government area affect the ability of accountants to use accounting information to detect and control fraud. 

Methods of Training Employees in an Organization

Some of the methods which are usually used for training of employees are:

1. on the job training
2. off-the-job-training
3. apprenticeship training
4. vestibule training (Training Center Training) 
5. Internship training and
6. Learner training (Uduigwomen 2009). 

Importance of Information and Communication Technology

Information and communication technology are crucially important for sustainable development in developing countries. Thioune (2011) notes that for the past two decades most developed countries have witnessed significant changes that can be traced to ICTs.
