For all Potential Corp Members,

a). One of the major things which all the Prospective Corps members should do, is that they must have valid and functional e-mail addresses which they can easily access any time and also an active Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.
b). All Corps member, are expected to use their correct JAMB Registration and your university Matriculation number to register for NYSC online registration.

c). For the locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board Approved Result lists submitted by their Institutions that will have access to the NYSC 2016 online registration portal in order to register.

d). For the Foreign-trained graduates should ensure that their Institutions are very much accredited. Where in doubt, it is their responsibility to approach Federal Ministry of Education for verification. The letter of verification must be uploaded during registration.

e). But for those who are foreign-trained graduates from Ghana and Benin Republic, they must obtain letters of verification and upload same for mobilization to be effective. All the foreign-trained graduates are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following documents online:

West African School Certificate(WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent,
General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent,
NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
 
First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate (Second Degree or Ph.D not necessary). Letter of attestation will not be accepted, Please.
Transcript of the first Degree or HND.
International travelling Passport showing data page and date of departure for the course of study.

How to Remove Open Firmware Password in MAC Operating System

I had the chance to troubleshoot a MacBook over the weekend and it took a while trying to figure it out since I don’t use that OS, I’ve always been a Windows guy right from the days of Windows 2000. The MacBook belonged to a friend and the open firmware password rendered the MacBook almost useless.
Initially, there was a blinking folder icon with a question mark on the screen and a lot of suggestions pointed to a bad HDD or some connecting cable. These were both changed but the problem persisited. Here are four possible causes of this probelm as explained by Apple:

• Problem with the computer’s PRAM.
• Boot drive’s directory has been corrupted – fix by repairing with Disk Utility.
• Critical system files are damaged or deleted – Fix by reinstalling OS X.
• The disk drive is physically non-functional – Replace the hard drive.

I tried to boot into Lion Recovery mode by holding the Command and R key while booting up but then the open firmware password prompt came up. He didn’t know the password, neither did I.
Well here is a fix that worked. It removed the open firware password and also fixed the blinking folder icon with question mark.
Shut down the MacBook and remove your charger completely.
Unscrew the MacBook and change the RAM configuration. It’s either you add or remove a RAM chip till you’re sure the amount has changed. You either increase or decrease it.
Re-assemble and screw it back.
Hold these buttons and start up the machine: Command+Option+P+R. You must hold these keys until the screen sort of flashes 3 times. This resets the PRAM and under normal circumstances, the firmware password should’ve been cleared.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FAT16 AND FAT32 IN USB

The base storage area for hard drives is a sector; each sector stores up to 512bytes of data. If an operating system stores less than 512bytes the rest of the sector goes to waste. The system needs a way to remember which sector holds which files so that it can retrieve it later, this is done using a file allocation table (FAT).
It is nothing more than a card catalog of where data is stored. The FAT is two colums, in the left column is the number that has been given to each sector. In the right column contains info on the status of sectors, ie. bad sector. So FAT is an acronymn but it is not a "partitioning tool". There is FAT16 and FAT32. The "16" and the "32" just means the size of the sectors with the FAT16 breaking your drive into smaller sectors which will cause your data to be spread out more because the sectors will fill up faster. Defintely use FAT32, because it will create sectors a lot bigger than FAT16 so you will be less likely to have fragments on your hard drive over a period of time.

How to Convert usb drive file system from RAW to ntfs or fat?

1.you can go into my computer under the Removable Disk icon rightclick>format>then under the file system drop-down menu pick the file type (FAT,FAT32,NTFS) and then hit start at the bottom

2.If that don't work, then you might have accidentally deleted the partition, yes they do have them, you can simply stick a windows CD in while the flash drive is connected and reboot, the CD will run. go through its process until you come to the partition menu, the usb drive will be listed as a second drive, but ofcoarse
smaller then your computers drive. (*WARNING* this will completely clear all data from the device or your hard drive so make sure you select the right one) Delete the existing partition then select C to create a new one. once your done creating a new partition press F3 and abort the rest, if you don't it will install windows. NOTE under the section saying file type, it will still say RAW when all is done.

reboot and then run threw my above method 1. to format the removable disk and when its complete you will be set as what ever type you choose from the drop-down menu.

This is what worked for me on several occasions however it always results in complete data loss. If anyone knows a better way please post, I would be extremely grateful.
