Significance of the Study
The study will be significant in diverse ways, as it will first and foremost expose the administrative units of higher institutions to the factors that influence indecent dressing among students in their various institutions of higher learning, thus revealing the implications and strategies that will be useful in curbing this ugly menace.Secondly, it will educate the society in particular parents and guardians, students and experts in the education industry on the forms of indecent dressing among students, the factors that are responsible for these practices, going further to reveal the effect on the academic performance and strategies for reducing it to the barest minimum.
Lastly, the study will provide adequate literature to the general public, other educational experts and researchers who intend to carry out further investigation on the ugly menace of indecent dressing in our society.
